This Privacy Policy describes how Jen Paterson Consulting (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We operate under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and take your privacy seriously.

What Information We Collect

When you contact us through this website, we may collect:

  • Contact form data: your name, email address, company name, and message content
  • Log data: IP addresses retained temporarily in server and CDN access logs
  • Analytics data: page views, session duration, and general browsing behaviour (only if you consent to analytics cookies)

We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or sensitive personal data through this website.

How We Use Your Information

Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use your personal information for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.

Data Subprocessors
#

We rely on the following third-party services to operate this website. Each may process personal data on our behalf, including at infrastructure located in the United States:

  • Cloudflare - hosting, CDN, DDoS protection, and form protection via Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare processes request data including IP addresses at edge nodes, which may be located outside BC (primarily US). See Cloudflare’s privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Google Analytics 4 - optional website analytics. Only active with your consent. GA4 processes anonymized usage data and sets cookies on your device. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com.
  • Google Workspace - email delivery for contact-form submissions. Message content you submit via contact forms is routed through Google’s infrastructure. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com.

As required under BC PIPA, we disclose that your personal information may be processed, stored, or accessed outside of British Columbia, primarily in the United States, by the subprocessors listed above.
